Hi! Thanks for visiting my website.
If you have ended up here, then likely you are looking for some kind of transformation in your life. I have been through so many transformations already in my short lifespan and what’s exciting is, there is no limit to how many times you can reinvent yourself!
Whether you are visiting my website because of tattoos or yoga, have a read below for more information.
A little about me;
My name is Kiri, not short for anything. My loving hippy parents named me after the Māori sun goddess by the same name, after their visit to New Zealand, decades ago.
After so many house moves and cultural changes throughout my life, the only thing that has stayed constant has been my love for art, nature, conversation and movement.
I have been drawing since I can remember and all of my education revolves around the arts.
After college and yes, even university, in 2019 I started my tattoo apprenticeship under the guidance and mentorship of Josh Wilson, a meticulous realism artist and oil painter. I am forever grateful to him for the opportunity and he is still a good friend of mine to this day.
Eventually, at the later age of 30, I began my career in Tattooing after covid lockdown in the UK. A wild time to start tattooing, as everyone was desperate for some sort of change after being locked inside their houses for 2 years! I hit the ground running, working 6 days a week from Colchester Body Arts in Essex, UK.
I have learnt and continue to learn so much from tattooing but my favourite part of the job, is meeting new people and listening to their stories. Watching how my long term clients change over the years is always fascinating too!
Now, writing this in 2026, I have tattooed around the UK at various different studios and conventions, meeting new clients, networking and making friends along the way.
My aim in the coming years is to broaden my horizons and start to tattoo abroad, in Europe specifically and at wellness festivals.
In August 2025, I took on my most recent personal transformation. I left Colchester Body Arts and built my own Private Studio in the Colchester Suburbs. Operating entirely independently but still staying involved with the tattoo industry by doing regular guest spots around the UK.
I also graduated my 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training course with Heidi Pascual ‘Lotus Love Yoga’. I had been practicing yoga on and off for around a decade but decided that I wanted to deepen my understanding of the philosophy, anatomy and history behind the practice.
Heidi’s course was both demanding and rewarding and although I initially had no intention of teaching, I found I enjoyed teaching others so much, that I had to share what I had learnt.
Since my teacher training course, I have immersed myself deeply into experiencing different styles and teachings of yoga. Read many philosophical/historical texts, attended retreats/workshops/classes/festivals from different teachers from across the globe.
I now facilitate three regular yoga classes in Colchester, at some lovely locally owned holistic studios; The Tree Room, The Manor Health & Wellness Centre and The Dhamma Centre, (go to my regular classes page for more information).
As my businesses evolve, I am looking for a way to bring the two together.
I keep coming back to the word ‘Transformation’ because I think both tattooing and yoga are deeply connected with this. Both practices have profoundly changed my life and persona and now I want to share the gifts that they can bring with the wider world, with my clients, friends and family.
So, if you are feeling stagnant, unfulfilled, lacking or in need of change, come and have a consultation with me.
We can have a friendly chat and maybe from there, we can collaborate together to find the direction you want to take your transformation in! I’m not promising that it will be the answer to all your problems in life but it could be a step in a different direction, a new way to look at yourself.
If nothing else, I always enjoy meeting new people and hopefully you will at least find me pleasant to converse with, over coffee and cake.
